What a great success! On a very windy Sunday afternoon our Parish Church was buzzing with families and grown-ups alike, all enjoying our first Angel Festival. Children were enjoying crafts, making their own angels. All enjoyed the wonderful display of angels made by various groups in our community with such skill and ingenuity.

Our grateful thanks especially to Josh and Ashleigh who made it all possible, but also to the angelic knitters and those who baked cakes and helped on the afternoon. We ended with a lovely family service and invitations to our next Open Doors Service on Sunday 17thFebruary at 4pm, to which all are welcome.

200 little white angels were knitted by the Parish Knit and Natter Ladies. These were distributed around the town, in shops and various groups in Neston during Advent. The label on the angel wished them a Happy Christmas and invited them to our Angel Festival next Sunday. Groups who wanted to make an angel for the festival have been encouraged to participate. So we are promised an amazing display of local handiwork. This is the ANGEL FESTIVAL PREMIEREfor Neston so be sure not to miss it.
