Dear all

Firstly can we thank you for the phenomenal response to the Hope Cards.  We had over 100 returned, an excellent harvest.  Obviously it is going to take a little time to read them all.  But rest assured we and the PCC will.  All your comments and ideas will be taken into consideration as we distil the majority hopes for this Parish.  From an initial reading of some cards it is clear you all hope for a truly united Parish, but finding a saint or superman to become the new vicar may be a little difficult. Please be assured that all individual responses will be treated in the strictest confidence and the cards stored securely.   We will however present a full report to you in the near future.

In the mean time we wish to express our thanks to all who decorated our churches for Easter they did a magnificent job.  All our services were well attended and received positive comments. A special well done to the ministry team who devised and led the Good Friday service.  It was good to see the Archdeacon on Easter Sunday.

The Neston Music Festival events, especially Daniel’s Organ Recital have been appreciated and well attended.

There is a busy time ahead as we prepare for the Annual Parish Church Meeting on 10th May.  Then there are a special United Eucharist, Ladies Day and the Queens Platinum Jubilee weekend all in the next few weeks.

Please continue to pray for the PCC and Ministry Team with our brilliant visiting clergy that we all can continue to keep the Parish working positively during the interregnum.

With love

Marion and Terry
