 Notice Update

The graveyard west boundary wall (adjacent to Church Lane, Neston) has become unstable and in order for the scheduled repair work to be carried out, it is deeply regrettable that a number of buried and cremated remains are required to be exhumed and some headstones may be dismantled during the repair.

This work will be done under the supervision of an appointed Architect by a Contractor appointed by Cheshire West & Chester Council, all under strictest Diocesan Guidelines. 

The exhumed remains will be securely stored on site until repair work is completed. The remains will then be sympathetically and professionally re-interned again under strict Diocesan guidelines.
